Kinda tired, but I figured I would do this.

I haven’t been around much, so I should just say that I’m still alive, just have a lot of stuff to do and very little time to do so. If only there was more than 24 hours in a day. Then I can talk about hvac in durham nc at comfort services 1 and gaming all at once.

I’m planning on doing a revamp on this site, so things may look a little different. Bear with me once I start this process. Not sure when, but it’s gonna happen.

The case of the broken bed

My daughter broke her crib just before we moved. This made me sad, because it was a good crib, and it would’ve lasted a lot longer if she wasn’t using it as a trampoline. We’re looking into getting her a toddler bed now that she’s of age, but I started to think that maybe she’s a little too heavy for even a toddler bed. At nearly 40 pounds (yes, not exaggerating), even certain chairs are too light for her. We have to keep an eye on the weight limit on them. We’re looking into kids furniture austin and other places to make sure that we get her a bed that’s sturdy enough even for those days she wants to play trampoline.

Good luck to us.

Things aren’t what they seem.

Sometimes when you see or hear something, you think of something completely different. I’ll give you an example: I saw wood blocks and immediately thought literal wood blocks. Like the kind of blocks that kids play with. The last thing that came to my mind were drum parts. Who in the world would make that association? Okay, maybe if you’re familiar with drums you would, but for the normal non-drum player, wood blocks mean something totally different. The more you know.

Give me my music, and I’ll give you my attention

So in my everyday random searching, I saw a martin little guitar at guitar center. And I cried.

Okay, I didn’t cry, but it just keeps reminding me of my yearning to learn to play guitar. It’s definitely on top of my bucket list, but sometimes I wonder if I would be able to do it before I die. I mean, there is that off chance you die in your sleep. Let’s hope I get to do it before that happens, right?

Lost in transit.

I had a couple of really nice wigs when I moved to Cali a few years ago. They were my fallback should my hair decide to act up. Since we’ve moved to Michigan, the wigs have magically disappeared. I thought they were packed in one of our boxes, but I can’t seem to find them anywhere. Which sucks terribly because these things weren’t cheap, and my hair has taken a form of its own, making it absolutely impossible to comb through most days.

Wigs are very useful for those days where you have an interview and can’t get your hair done in time. Just saying.
